Kristen Smith loves to work with children and her life-long dream of opening her own childcare center has finally come true. Everything couldn’t be more perfect until her high school sweetheart walks through front door with his son in tow. Randy Stroud was the "one" that she has never gotten over. She has never understood why he’d ended their relationship but it was obvious that he’d moved and she was more than willing to pretend that she has.

If I am not mistaken, I've seen this video in the past and it was excellent! I totally agree with the need for some women to work on themselves and release the baggage. I also feel men need to be men and stop gaming; it all gets old after while.

A DVD I highly recommend is "Diary of a Tired Black Man." I picked it up last week because the title intrigued me. Reading the case, I only saw one actor who looked familiar - the brother who played the mysterious mind bender on the TV show "Heroes." So I figured that this would be some low-budget comedy - a response-type movie to "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." But it was cheap, and the title intrigued me, so I figured, what the hell...

Well, how wrong I was about the quality and content of this movie. It really wasn't a movie at all. Yes, there were actors and actresses playing out the life of a married couple going through some serious issues. But interspersed throughout the movie were "man on the street" interviews - real people talking about "The Angry Black Woman Syndrome," and why it makes a good black man so tired.

Those interviews were the meat of this DVD. The acted out scenes had a ring of truth but was pretty one-sided in favor of men, in my opinion. It was very much the way movies like "The Color Purple" and "Waiting to Exhale" favor women (I'm a fan of both those movies but hey, they are what they are).

But the interviews in "Diary of a Tired Black Man" were real people (men and women), talking about "angry black women" and the drama they can bring.

I was so ingrossed that I didn't even hear my phone ringing.

Okay, a lot of women will not like this video, especially some of those who see themselves in the type of women described. But I think this video should be mandatory viewing for anyone about to embark in a new relationship. For men, it's a wake up call to look at the person they're about to deal with. For the women to which it applies, it's a call to get themselves right...to leave their baggage behind instead of expecting a new man to carry it.

Regards!
